I tend to group my efforts into series, an assortment of ideas that I am willing to change as I work and which change as I respond to new stimuli. It has been a process of planned and spontaneous activity, and I have been doing it for more than fifty years.

By considering different styles and a variety of techniques, working both abstractly and representationally, and continually varying my palette, I have kept the process fresh, challenging, and rewarding. The work displayed in this Gallery was painted for my pleasure. The work done on commission and that work which has been sold and is in private or public collections is not exhibited here.

A portfolio of selected work and pictures of my newly completed mural for the Bauer Drive Community Center are available on my Facebook page, Robert Stuart Cohen.

For brief information about the work, see "                           ."

For more about me, see "                   " and "                         ."

Painting for me is a process of discovery, in which working with change, matters of perception, and color is essential.
